2. Description of Service

Smart Variant Display is a Shopify application designed to support variant presentation and merchant configuration workflows, which may include:

• Variant swatches, pills, and image-tile display modes on product pages or other supported storefront surfaces.
• Variant visibility controls and storefront presentation settings.
• Merchant-side settings, display rules, and related administrative tools.
• Support for clearer sold-out states and more polished option selection experiences.

3. Eligibility and Store Responsibilities

To use Smart Variant Display, you must maintain an active Shopify store and authorize the permissions reasonably required for the app to function.

• You are responsible for your storefront setup, theme compatibility, content review, and final publishing decisions.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with Shopify requirements, applicable laws, and your own store policies.
• You remain responsible for customer-facing disclosures related to your storefront and any data practices you control.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Smart Variant Display in a manner that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or technically harmful. In particular, you may not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, disable, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to collect or expose data in violation of law or platform rules.
• Deploy misleading storefront flows or abusive promotional behavior.
• Use the Service in a way that could impair availability, performance, or security for others.

5. Fees and Plan Limits

Smart Variant Display may offer different plans, feature sets, capacity limits, or pricing structures. Where paid plans apply, billing and subscription handling may be administered through Shopify.

We may update plan structure, limits, or pricing from time to time. Any such changes will apply prospectively in accordance with applicable platform rules and notice requirements.

6. Intellectual Property

Smart Variant Display, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain your rights in your store content and customer-facing materials. You grant us a limited right to process that content only as needed to provide and support the Service.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of Smart Variant Display at any time, including specific features, integrations, or usage thresholds.

Availability may depend on theme compatibility, Shopify platform behavior, network conditions, maintenance windows, and factors outside our direct control.

8. Disclaimers

Smart Variant Display is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or suitability for every store configuration or business model.

You are responsible for evaluating whether the Service is appropriate for your storefront, workflows, and operational requirements before relying on it in production.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data arising out of or related to the Service.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Smart Variant Display will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Smart Variant Display and its affiliates, officers, agents, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using Smart Variant Display at any time, including by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the platform or other users, or if continued operation is no longer commercially or technically feasible.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, and data handling will continue in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted on this page unless otherwise stated. Continued use of Smart Variant Display after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute relating to the Service will be handled in the legally appropriate forum determined under those laws and any binding platform requirements.
